All visa applicants for Germany are advised to visit the Joint Visa application centre in Dubai to submit their applications, together with all necessary documents and, if required, to schedule an interview at the Embassy. Please note that visas are issued only to residents of the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.

VISA APPLYING
PROCESS

Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to 'All about your visas' link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.

Step 2
Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre (Strongly recommended): To avoid waiting time due to high volume of applicants applying at the same time, we strongly recommend you book an appointment before visiting the Visa Application Centre. Booking and appointment is FREE OF CHARGE and is subject to availability. More details available under Schedule an Appointment.

Step 3
Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Please check 'Visa Fee' table provided under the visa category you are applying for. Visa Application Centre accepts the fee in CASH ONLY. Submission Officer at the Visa Application Centre will advise you on total payable amount payable in local currency only (AED). A receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
